The Self Awareness, that's what I'm looking for, that Self that is so incredible, so immaculate, coming into my awareness always, this is what I'm looking for. How do I get there from here? There are many tools that are helpful, and quite a few things that ae counter-indicated, breath, yoga, tai-chi, this writing, focused attention, all of these yield positive results in line with That, anger, resentment, hostility, appetites of any kind, self-pity, too much talking, giving reality to made up scenarios, all these are counter-indicated and to be avoided, when the mind gets all swampy you need to calm it down, look at the underlying unpleasant feeling and see what it is about, always a desire of some kind, relinquish the desire, blow its flame out, extinquish it. This will give you freedom of thought and the ability to think clearly and reasonably, admiration is a trap, it is based on illusion, there is nothing there, Love and admiration are not the same thing in this context. There is no "getting there" because it is here always; what needs to happen is the release of samskaras, vasanas, and poop. This sour/dead/glob energy, the tarpit that consumes all and turns it to poop ~ ? , surfing and the water seem to help this, electric desires may help, they go away fast so aren't a problem themselves,

What are those glimpses of the underlying reality, deeper than normal perceptions?, break throughs, insights, when do they happen?, when I get an insight into something new, some new piece of knowledge, that keeps me seeking insights, the most recent was last night, after getting the gSpiceUI program to do something I'd been trying to do, it felt so good, this happens a lot with the computer, the moments that keep me pursuing such things. Are such things ultimately useful? At what level of usefulness? They make living easier, less stressful, or rather, they remove stress, sometimes the stress removed is pretty superficial, but it does bring the attention to a higher state of focus,

How do I become established in the constant awarenes of the Self?, this is the biggest question I have, all others are irrelevant beside this one, the idea is to get rid of all that isn't virtuous, clear out the scum that blocks clear perception, there is no going back once you are established, the head gets very crowded with vasanas, you have to be truly uninvolved in the world around you, completely absorbed in the contemplation of the inner Self, let your enthusiasm be for that!, so, focusing on the highest, and keeping in mind the final goal, these are keys to attainment of the permanent state of Enlightenment, this controlling of the energy that you do through the morning breathing, tai-chi movement, sun worship, utterly well done!, the part of your mind (the set of vasanas), that seem like some sort of wild mexican jumping bean, that part can be trapped and focused on the exercises, then eventually the energy can be drawn out and dissipated, You have to release the inner space of the upper chest/the heart, that's where feelings escape/release, if they don't release easily, they get all bunched up, a well functioning human-unit releases feelings immediately, what about feelings that have accumulated over time, i.e., - were not released immediately? you can bring the prana into that stinking pile of shit and get it going, get it moving out! You intuitively know how to do it, it is the natural state, this work takes place in the shushumna,

The idea that this isolated consciousness is designed simply to feel/experience and whatever, check with the maestro/guru and see if it fits, if it works? computes, it always computes, anything that helps rid me of vasanas is useful, the guru/disciple relationship, we clean out the vasanas, this is the upper chakras, ridding the samskaras, the heart chakras, and pooping, other forms of evacuating the physical crap, the lower chakras, because the breath is very pure it can be used for this stuff, use your own internal sense of it.
